AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in assault, further providing for the
offense of recklessly endangering another person.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2705 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
§ 2705. Recklessly endangering another person.
(a) Offense generally.--A person commits a misdemeanor of
the second degree if [he] the person recklessly engages in
conduct which places or may place another person in danger of
death or serious bodily injury.
(b) Failure to adhere to emergency order.--A person commits
a misdemeanor of the second degree if the person willfully fails
to wear a mask or other face covering that is necessary to
protect public health as a result of a declaration by the
Governor of disaster emergency under 35 Pa.C.S. § 7301(c)
(relating to general authority of Governor).

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
